Alexis and her mom were the first to email the answer so she won a gift certificate to ITunes!

The teachers and I are in professional development this week learning about: how the brain works, how readers comprehend better, how writers become better writers - and many more subjects.  The teachers are getting their rooms ready and the library is shaping up for your first visit in a few days.  I am excited about the new school year.  

Remember the library is SWEET!  

Ads on BlogSpot AND CONTEST

Google has started posting ads on our Tanga blog site.  I am trying to find out how to get them off, or at least control what is advertised.  (If you know how to do it, let me know!)  In the meantime, please be watchful of the content.

The Countdown Begins!

The new school year will start soon.  I have already been to school to start setting up the library, and Mr. E. and Mrs. Drake have started making plans for the teachers.  We have several new teachers joining our staff! 

The library schedule will be a little different this year.  I will be setting it up as soon as the teachers return.  Be watching the blogspot for more information and one more contest before school starts.  I can't wait to see you in the library.

If you are one of our great volunteers, be sure to watch the PTA website and sign up to help us in the library again.  I apologize for not being able to set up the schedule in advance, but the teachers will need to set their schedules first.  I will let you know ASAP!
